A downloadable war crime for Windows, macOS, and Linux

NOTE BEFORE PLAYING: Currently, the default match settings has two AIs against each other. For you to play, you must change one of the AI players type to "Meatbag". Yes, this is quite unintuitive at the moment, and yes, I intend to change it.

This is a tug-of-war style strategy game, where you place down production structures that continuously produce units, which then attack the enemy. There are currently three different factions, each with their set of units. Placing down structures costs money, some of which you earn passively, but most if it you earn by destroying enemy units.

In order to win, you must counter the enemy unit composition. How to know which units counter what? Uh, you can't really currently outside of unit descriptions perhaps giving a hint. Solving that is on my TODO list. Unluckily for you, the games AI is fine-tuned to counter your composition, so you better figure it out!

There is no multiplayer in this game, and I have no intentions of adding it. Maybe if I ever make like a sequel, but that's many, many years from now at best.

You can switch between different cameras using Q and E. There is currently no indicator of what camera you are in, but you can switch between Topdown Perspective, Topdown Orthographic, Frontline Cam, Free Cam, and Unit Cam.

The two Topdown modes work as your traditional RTS camera, and you can pan it around by moving the mouse out the edge of the screen. The Free Cam allows you to move freely using WASD and observe the battle from any perspective. The Frontline Cam automatically follows the action on the frontline. Finally, the Unit Cam brings you the perspective of the individual units, so that you can get a true sense of the action.

Prepare yourself for bugs, janky behaviour, glitchy visuals, and a general lack of polish. This game is developed as a fun side project first, and as an actual product second. If you do happen to have bug reports, suggestions, or other feedback, then either let me know in the comments or open as issue on GitHub.

You can take control of any mobile unit, from the most basic assault infantry, to the heavy walkers, and personally ensure the destruction of your enemies. Do disregard that you can take control of any unit, friendly or hostile. This feature is mostly just something I added for fun, so don't take it too seriously.

The scope of this version of the game is to finish the three factions, polish the game up, maybe add some more sceneries and map types, maybe even a tournament mode. Once this is done, I will branch off with a closed-source version of the game, which will then continue development as a serious, commercial product. The open source version will remain available freely as a demo version.

The key planned feature for the closed-source version, aside from more content of course, is a campaign mode. In this mode, you choose a faction, and use it to conquer the world from other factions through missions that reward you with unit unlocks, special upgrades, rare cross-faction units, and even rarer and more powerful OMEGA-tier units. Oh yeah also a basic plugin and modding system, probably.
